Taking a Closer Look, or "2+2=5"

Was it Christian of the church to call for blood in the aftermath of 9-11? no. Was it Christian, or even responsible for our "Born-again" president to jump right into a war after 9-11? Again, no. Why, then did they choose their reactions? How could so many have been fooled into thinking that the church was truly following the cause of Christ when it supported "Operation Infinite Justice" and when it continues to support the war on terror? And More importantly, judging by his actions on that day, and his manipulation of the events ever since: was the president acting like a man with nothing to hide?

It is through our reactions in life that the most revealing traits of our character show through. Sometimes to our advantage, but mostly to our shame. And of course, when and if we are faced with our shortcomings we then face the choice to either take a lesson from the experience, and grow from it, or we can ignore that a fault exists, and continue to focus on maintaining surface appearances.

Considering the far-reaching effects of September 11th, and considering that history already shows us that the Bush administration has used the event in much the same way that Adolf Hitler used the Reichstagg fire; to consolidate power under one branch of government, and to fuel a series of preemptive wars...it is of utmost importance that we critically analyze all aspects of that horrific day, if we are to know what really happened.

While all Americans have the burning towers in New York, and smoldering wreckage at the pentagon forever engraved in their minds, we also have other recorded perspectives from that day at our disposal. We all remember seeing the smoking holes in the tops of the towers, and seeing the second plane slam into it's target sending out a huge fireball. But how many of us know of numerous secondary explosions in the basement and lower floors of the towers during that period of chaos? Certainly many eyewitnesses knew, and they were quick to report them, but those eyewitness accounts have been subtly swept under the rug, and our attention has been deliberately rested high up on those buildings, away from further questions.

It is in studying the other perspectives of that day, and the aftermath that we can piece together a more defined outlook of events. There is no denying the trauma and terrible loss that our nation suffered that day. There is nothing enjoyable in rewitnessing the horror from an analytical perspective. I beleived that Bush was the Antichrist for a full eight months before I allowed myself to even consider the possibility that he had a guilty hand in the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Why? because 9-11 was just so big. As it turns out, it was the Big Lie.

But first things first, let's look at what the major players were doing in the midst of our national emergency. It was in Michael Moore's 2004, "dont vote Bush" film Farenheight 9-11, that I first saw the videotaped reaction of George W Bush when he first heard the news that our nation was under attack. He was sitting in a Florida classroom; cool, silent, and waiting. It was chilling, to say the least. At our moment of greatest need for action and leadership, George W Bush was sitting in a classroom, thinking his thoughts. We were all shocked that day, to be sure. But for George Bush to just sit quietly like that is really bizarre...and certainly not the image I think of when I imagine a president who would keep our country safe (as the republican party so lovingly portrayed him). For all the courageous rhetoric that Bush has used since that day, it is baffling that he has never been held accountable for, or even seriously questioned about his actual response on 9-11.

Back in Washington DC, and back in time we find ourselves in a pentagon meeting, 8AM; where Donald Rumsfeld becomes more than Secretary of Defense...he becomes a prophet with these words, "...sometime in the next two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve months there will be an event that will occur in the world that will be sufficiently shocking that it will remind people again how important it is to have a strong healthy Defense Department that contributes to—that underpins peace and stability in our world.”

His prophetic sentiments eerily mirror the wishlist of Neocon think tank, "The Project For a New American Century" (which he is a member of) that introduced the term a new pearl harbor back in September of 2000. The first World Trade tower is struck less than an hour after that. But even more disturbing is the fact that Rumsfeld made another prediction, “Believe me, this isn’t over yet. There’s going to be another attack, and it could be us.” moments before the pentagon is struck!

There is also the matter of a 10-30 minute period that morning when Rumsfeld went missing in action, but of course that morning was packed with chaos, so maybe I shouldn't take the missing time to mean anything in and of itself... All of these examples could be excused if they were isolated instances. But there are numerous other examples of peculiar behavior on and around the day that changed America, and the world. (for instance, why did John Ashcroft stop flying in commercial airliners around July of 2001? Why did Condoleza Rice warn Willie Brown not to fly on 9/11? and why did the FBI confiscate video security footage from a hotel and gas station around the pentagon within fifteen minutes of the strike?)

The most condemning response to the attacks came from Dick Cheney, who himself issued the command for NORAD intercept jets to “stand down” before the pentagon was hit. The order to finally cover the skies was given around 10:00 am.

I could go on and on with these examples, but the fact is this; even though our official motto is “we will never forget”, a majority of Americans would prefer that day to rest in peace out of respect for the dead. And our media has been kind enough to accomidate that sentiment, banning images and video clips from further airplay.

On the other hand, our government has seemed more than content in using September the eleventh as a hot-button issue, a scare-tactic, or the reason why the NSA would wire-tap citizen’s phones without warrents, or the US Military would be ordered to invade any sovereign nation pre-emptively. There is no doubt that our government would prefer that we never forget. But at the same time they would also rather we not get bogged down with too many gruesome details…one might suppose also out of respect for the dead.

The Bush administration waited 411 days to form an official “investigation” of the attacks. Our armed forces had been in Afghanistan more than a year by that time...When the commission was formed, it was underfunded and bogged down with red tape, leaving many questions unaddressed or unanswered . (the 9/11 commission, for instance, offered absolutely no explanation for why Building number 7 collapsed). It is also interesting to note that although George Bush and Dick Cheney did finally agree to meet with the commission they refused to officially testify, they met only under the condition that they would both remain in the same room and be interviewed at the same time, and they did not allow a recorded transcript of their meeting to be made.

So far in this analysis, we are faced with a media blackout, and what appears at a glance to be a government coverup. September eleventh is not the yet-unsolved murder of 2998 innocents any more, it has evolved into something much greater than that. It is the fuse which started a never-ending war much like the one described in George Orwell’s 1984. The war abroad to maintain the government’s iron grip of control at home. And if you are familiar with 1984, you might be familiar with “2+2=5” The reason behind that statement is a demonstration of the government’s authority in the minds of it’s citizens. If Big Brother says 2+2=5, the masses will believe that 2+2=5. Truth is defined by those in power, and accepted by it’s fearful subjects. On 9/11 we have a demonstation of that exact equation by the number of planes hyjacked adding up to the number of destructive events. Four planes went up, it should mean that four planes came down, and four events took place. But in fact four planes did go up, but five events took place. The two towers were hit (2) the pentagon was struck (+1) a plane went down in Shanksville Pennsylvania (+1) and at 5:25pm, World Trade Center building number 7 imploded on itself in about 6 seconds (+1). In this recorded series of events the public is faced with the mostly unquestioned equation of 2+2=5.

I would like to point out that there are thousands upon thousands of people all around the world who have drawn that untrue equation into question, people who have “awakened” from an apathetic slumber (or the American dream) and have taken the matter of investigation into their own hands…but even still, regardless of what is at stake, most Americans are simply not willing to accept the idea that our government had a hand in the 911 attacks. Why? Again, because it was such a massive and horrifying act of unquestionable evil. Hollywood and other sources of propaganda have portrayed America as the heros in a neverending struggle against evil men like Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein. We beat the nazis, we won the cold war, we fight the bad guys, and we are a Christian Nation (God Bless America!). Examining the mountain of evidence that condemns the rotten history of our CIA, or the unconstitutional, ruthless philosophies and methods of our current Neocon government (especially in regards to 9-11) is the path of greatest resistance. Because that path resists all that we have been raised to believe about ourselves.

In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes.

The Big Lie in this case is not merely that 19 Hijackers with boxcutters were solely responsible for the events of 9-11, but more-so that George W Bush is the rough-and-tumble cowboy savior of the western world. The Big Lie is that Bush is a leader brave enough to face an enemy that would stop at nothing to destroy us, regardless of the cost. Because the fact remains that George W Bush and Tony Blair have done more to destroy the foundations of western freedom than any outside enemy ever could.

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are not about liberation, they are about domination. The enemy of the people is not foreign, it is undoubtably domestic. And George W Bush is not a Christian soldier, he is not a savior of life. He is a remorseless, cold-blooded killer. A false savior. an Antichrist.

The Father of Lies

"The Devil" is one of the most controversial and fascinating subjects of Biblical lore. Some people believe not only that he does exist but that he also has red skin, horns and a pointed tail. While another group would say that he appears as an angel of light to trick us into veering from that narrow road of righteousness. There are still others who believe that the devil is a figment of the irresponsible human imagination; they consider it foolishness to say, "The Devil made me do it", no matter what the circumstance is. These skeptics laugh at demon worship, and enjoy movies such as The Omen, The Evil Dead, or The Exorcist.

There is no doubt that we have sin within our own flesh, I agree that it's a cop-out to blame the devil for personal failure But it is dangerous to ignore his existance altogether. The devil is in fact the head of an unholy trinity of sin, which consists of the devil, the world and the flesh.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

He is known as the accuser of the bretheren. He is also the "father of lies". The Devil is the enemy of God: a being driven mad by his upcoming judgement. He is the ultimate living expression of deception, damnation, temptation, illusion and rebellion. But he wasn't always an enemy. And in order to understand who he is now, it is needful for us to examine his previous state of being.

when God created the angel Lucifer, He was beautiful and brilliant: "the morning star", adorned in precious stones! He had great freedom to come and go as he pleased. He was apparently given great authority, he was brought into creation at the very peak of his perfection. There was no room for improvement or maturity in this creature.
This is how Ezekial describes him:

Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God every precious stone was thy covering...Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub

In all of creation there was only One more beautiful, more brilliant, more perfect that this creature, and that One is the King of All. Imagine that! What would it be like in that position?

imagine being born fully matured, truly perfect, "sealing up the sum" of creation, adorned with jewels, having the universe laid out at your feet, as you stand on the mountain of God himself. Imagine light radiating from your very body, as you wander through creation, dancing among planets, comets and suns. Imagine that your job is to conceal the glory of God. To cover up God's Holiness. Your job is to be a filter over the only perfection that is greater than yours. A perfection so pure that it cannot be directly seen. Imagine serving this creator in a universe without sin, a universe that has been weighed in the balance, and leveled out perfectly. All is well in all creation...



Now imagine your gaze drifting to the throne of your creator. Imagine your mind as it wanders from the known and set routine of your heavenly duties to a whole new line of exotic thinking. Imagine yourself begin to dream of doing the one thing that is forbidden of you to do. Quietly dreaming of being not even equal to, but actually better than your master: dreaming about taking the very throne of God. There is no one you can talk these thoughts through with, because you have no peers, only the lesser angels beneath you, and the object of your forbidden fantasies above. Alone in your tortured state.

These were harmless thoughts and at first, perhaps, but as Lucifer's mind continued to dwell, the power and pull of the dream grew stronger. Think about the silent struggle that took place in the mind of Lucifer: between his innate sense of obedience, and this brand new hunger. You can almost see him make his decision, see his eyes fill up with the first ever glint of that all consuming fire which we call greed...

What happened after that decision was made? What happened when Lucifer tried to take the judgement seat, the throne of the Father? Jesus told his followers plainly, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven". The prophet Isaiah also witnessed the judgement of Lucifer, and spoke forth this message for our edification:

How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit

There is talk of death, yet Lucifer still lives. What's going on here? Just which "death" is the prophet Isaiah referring to? Is he describing the devil being bound up and caste in to the lake of fire, as he soon shall be? Did Isaiah see a picture of the "second death" which is reserved for the devil, the beast and the false prophet, as well as all the unrepentent? I'm not sure. Perhaps he saw a type of that final judgement, but I think Isaiah was shown the death of the sin which is separation from God. Just as Adam didn't literally die the day he ate of the forbidden fruit, but was cursed and no longer allowed to walk with God after his sin, so was Lucifer cursed when sin entered into him. All of sin is basically a blindness to the wonderful enriching nature of God's will. The narrow road that leads to life is one which is taken by the will of God. But lost to the truth, and in our sinful state, we think we know how to best spend our lives. By staying self-centered and stubborn in our ways, we are enslaved to sin, and we can never reach the fullness of our potential. It is when the dead look back upon their lives and see what they missed by refusing to do the will of God, it is then that they begin to weep and gnash their teeth. There are no exceptions to this truth. By doing whatever we want to do, making decisions based on our very limited perspective of the greater reality; by not trusting in or waiting on the Lord...we sin. And as we know, the wages of sin is death!

However, angels are beings of pure spirit, and are not imprisoned in flesh, so death does not affect them because they were not created out of clay as Adam was. There is no angelic grave, but there is imprisonment. It is the earth itself which holds the devil and his angels until the day of the Lord. In Genesis, God numbers the days of man to no more than 120 years. However Lucifer, the fallen one, lives on earth right now awaiting his judgement. Think about that, Satan has been on earth for thousands of years, since being cursed at Eden. The lake of fire which awaits the wicked on judgement day was reserved for Satan and his angels, according to the Christ. So what gives? Why are angels granted lifespans which glide through millenia with no problem? For instance, the angel Gabriel helped interpret Daniel's vision in Babylon, yet hundreds of years later who should deliver the news of John the Baptist's birth but the angel Gabriel? Just how long do these angels live, anyway? Do they just pop in and out of existance as needed? as spirit beings are they created once to live forever?


There are many paintings that depict angels as being infants with wings: so cute and adorable and holy and precious, yet that image could not conflict more with the scriptures. Not once in scripture is an angel described as being a child. They are described as either appearing like men, or like creatures with human and animal parts, covered by many sets of wings and many many eyes!! Children are simply underdeveloped adults. They represent the spring bud of human life, and their innocence and potential is strictly a human feature.

The point is this: neither Lucifer nor the other fallen angels have that redemptive trait which humanity has been given. They cannot learn from their mistakes. They cannot repent. Which is one reason why they hate humanity so very much. They do not die, as human's do, but they also cannot be redeemed as we can, under the blood of Christ. Why is that? Because they knew better. Lucifer at least personally met, saw and interacted with God. He was brought into existance at the peak of his perfection. Therefore, he had no room to grow or mature. We human beings don't know how to appreciate the miraculous nature of our personal path of growth, redemption and maturity. We don't know what a precious gift we have been given in the random state of being called mortal life. Angels simply cannot "grow up". They do not evolve on a personal level, they exist solely to serve their designed purpose under heaven. But Lucifer and his angels have fallen from grace, they have abandoned their posts, and even now await the final verdict of their judgement. I suggest you Read Revelation 12 to get a better idea of what sort of enemy we are up against. All humanity is hated by Lucifer and his angels for several reasons:

1. we have room for improvement
2. we have been blessed with the chance for redemption
3. God created us in his own image

So in closing, be careful, be watchful and be vigilant. Because the devil does exist, and if you let him he will devour you. But he has been defeated by the blood of Christ. And even now is being ushered into the arena to receive his judgement.

Hugo Chavez vs. El Diablo!

On the morning of September 20^th, Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, stood before the Assembled United Nations in New York and delivered a powerful and moving speech. His message was bold in truth, impacting…powerful and was very well received (as shown through a thunderous round of applause by UN members upon it’s conclusion).

In this speech Chavez refers to Bush as “El Diablo”, several times and denounces the imperial agenda of the American war-machine. He draws to question Bush’s idea of “extremists”, for our president seems to see them everywhere. He commented on the way that Bush addressed the nation the day before as though he owned the world…Chavez acted with a courage that may not be allowed in the near future. He spoke with a freedom that is being actively reduced. He warned the UN, and indeed the world of the horrors which are to come, if we do not take a stand against the responsible parties.

Chavez’s address has quickly been twisted by the televised media as though it were a shameless and embarrassing move on the part of the Venezuelan president. They decry the tasteless nature of Chavez’s accusations, spouting on about how it’s inappropriate for anyone in his position to say these things about George Bush while in America. They equate this speech to a rude guest insulting his host at a house party. It is a nice picture, I must say, very dismissive and cutting, but the media is ignoring greater truths (just as it ignores the mountain of evidence concerning what really happened on 9-11-01)

Chavez was addressing the United Nations, whose headquarters just so happens to be located in New York city. He was not making cheap shots on a personal level, but exercising his right to speak freely and candidly, warning the assembled of what he sees a very serious threat. He may become a target of the American military as an indirect result of his words. He knows what the US Armed forces are willing to do, because the US military was involved in an attempted coup against Chavez in April of 2002. Of course that's been mostly covered up...leaving just enough evidence to condemn them in the minds of patriotic citizens who investigate independently and act as watchdogs on our crooked government.

Let us see beyond the spin of our media, and remember that America is also not our president’s house, or personal property! This nation is not some sort of safety zone which protects our president from any scrutiny. A president stands or falls by the foundation of his actions. We do not pretend that Bush is infallible here in America, why? Because we do not live in a dictatorship…yet. The American democracy is hinged on accountability, and Mr. Bush has almost six years of lies, murder, and the service of greed and corporate interests to answer for. Bush hides behind his mask of rhetoric, and has used fear to promote a truly sinister agenda. We have a very clear and ugly scope of perspective now, more than five years after 9-11, We see what has been done with what we have given our government.

The USA Patriot act was passed in the fall of ‘01, compromising the privacy of the American public…what does the Bush camp do next? It wire-taps millions of American phones without a warrant. Our military forces invade the sovereign nation of Afghanistan as a part of the global war on terror…a war that is supposedly not against nations, but extremists and terrorist groups all throughout the world….We invade with the promise of vengeance, and the capture of Osama Bin Laden. We engage in one preemptive war, because of all that we had been promised. Promises which are yet to be fulfilled and a year and a half later what does the Bush camp do? It sends our military into yet another nation, swaying public opinion through a campaign of fear, and lies. They also manipulated the hearts of Americans by stoutly decrying Saddam Hussein for torturing Iraqis...but that's another subject entirely.

Whenever we give an inch, they steal a mile. That is why we must stand up in resistance to the rhetoric and doublespeak we are bombarded with. We must make it known that we are not the fools they make us out to be. This is a very serious state of affairs.

So for the media to equate our nation with the personal residence of president Bush is for the media to act as if we were under a monarchy or in a dictatorship.

Bush may ignore the polls, ignore the direction that the people of this nation would like to head. He may use and abuse his executive privileges as much as he thinks he can get away with, he may rudely interrupt anyone he wants to at any time with a harsh and childish "Can I finish?". He may sit tight on the worlds largest nuclear stockpile, he may be surrounded by layers of planning and protection, thinking himself untouchable and already a king... but he simply cannot create unquestioning and unwavering support for his policies. And though the media would like to think that he can…while they would like to think that our nation is the personal property or “house” of George W Bush…it simply isn’t the case. And while they would also like to think that Chavez is nothing more than a certifiably insane conspiracy theorist or religious nut…the truth is that he is the democratically elected leader of the sovereign nation of Venezuela.

Reality stands in protest to spin, and the rock of truth will crush any structure of lies that now stands in the world. For the angel of the Lord did proclaim upon the sounding of the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11; “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever”.

That time will come…the battle of the end is upon us, and it’s fury will intensify as the heat of a raging fire; yet the victory of this struggle is assured to Christ, and all who call upon him in their time of trouble. Hallelujah! Stand in love and you shall see the truth, and that truth will set you free from fear, deception, and all the trappings of sin.

“Let love be genuine, hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good”

search your heart to find the motive that Chavez had to say what he did. I have searched mine, and found his motives to be based on love.

Unholy Spirit

Out in the wilderness, 2000+ years ago, under a sun which shines like inferno, we see two figures. First, there is Jesus of Nazareth; lips blistered, eyes sunk, looking as though he should drop from malnutrition after 40 days of fasting. Yet he stands tall, and does not waver as he speaks with the other. Who is the other? the Devil, of course, transforming master of temptation. He can be a dragon, a serpent, a shadow or a radiant angel. We see the angel now, looking amazingly healthy compared to the Christ. Jesus has spent the past forty days out here in the desert, in preparation for his upcoming ministry, and now he is being tested to the limit of his endurance. For while he is the Son of God, he is also a creature housed in flesh, and the flesh does have it's limits. That is the point of another post, but basically, in this desert scene we find Christ doing battle with, and triumphing over, all three aspects of the unholy trinity: the devil, the world, and the flesh. But rather than retell the whole story of Christ's temptations, I would like to bring up one particular moment:

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

While the extent of Satan's authority in this world sinks in, I'd like to draw your attention to John 16, where Christ makes two promises:

1. In the world ye shall have tribulation:
   
2. but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world

He also told the Roman Governor who sentenced him to crucifixion plainly that his kingdom is not of this world. Knowing that, campaigns such as the 700 club "Operation Prayer Shield" are to be brought into question. The idea of uniting church and state under the rule of this current state is foolish, yet that is exactly what's happening. Faith-based charities are getting federal funding, Our president's language is filled with religious words when he discusses "souls" and "evildoers". President Bush is, for all intents and purposes, the figurehead of the religious right, because he has confessed to being "born again" and he constantly peppers his speeches with his "Christianese". Yet president Bush is also a self-confessed spokesman for the upper class, the wealthiest 1% of America...so which master is he serving, exactly? God, or Money?

The answer is obvious: it's in the bank. Bush's allegiance is to the world, and thusly to the devil, no matter what he says.

So what exactly is this enemy we face, this false promise, this world system? According to Wikipedia, the word "World" evolved from two Olde English terms, "were" meaning man (as in werewolf), and "eld" meaning age. So it literally means the age of man. The empires in history are the boldest manifestation of the "spirit of the world". Mankind has lived throughout the ages in a tug-of-war between God and the devil. 1 Corinthians 2:12 says "We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us."

It astounds me that even though justice, mercy, love and truth are all forces that serve God, the world has been under the sway and influence of the devil. He is allowed only to impersonate God's goodness, never to duplicate it, so if any of us spent time really thinking about all that calls itself good, the liars would soon become very obvious to us. Unfortunately, people don't seem to want to think, or question, or stop and reassess. Instead, while we think that we are taking the path of least resistance, people throughout history support tyrant after tyrant which cause us to envy, hate, and make war on one another.

The unchanging truth is simple. Our only hope for peace is in learning to love one another. But most people seem to prefer patriotism over peace; selfish lies to the difficult truth, and the approval of our neighbors to the approval of God. Which is a great sign of the devil's astounding authority in the world. In Revelation 13, there is a prophecy of a final world empire, and it's ruler. When the empire first arises from the sea, Rev 13:2 says this:

The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

This empire is then described in full, and when the third beast, from the earth appears, it is said that he "exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf". This ties in the dragon, beast of the earth and the beast of the sea represent an "unholy trinity", which is represented by the dragon as the opposite of God the father, the Beast of the sea representing the unholy spirit, and the beast of the earth representing the Antichrist. This is a concept not taught by most end-times teachers, but it has support in the scriptures. I write more in depth on that subject in this post.

It is important to remember that the "spirit of the world" is not limited to politics and empires. It has many faces, many manifestations. The Unholy spirit is, in essence, The System. It includes, but is not limited to: religion, commerce, politics, and entertainment (although God has double agents in all of these areas). In Bible-speak world represents the various networks of humanity which set themselves up as independent from God. As technology increases, so, naturally does a sense of assurance arise in mankind. We work together to defeat the elements and gain a hope in our accomplishments.Time and time again, God has wanted man to believe that God is good, and will provide for our needs, if we would only subject ourselves to his authority, and strive to communicate with him through prayer. God loves it when we give Him the opportunity to bless us (although I'm not saying that following him is free from trouble or trial...it isn't). Jesus taught by example, that God provides everything a sparrow needs to survive, and reminded us how much more valuable we are to God, and how much more ready he is to provide for us. But with the ease and convenience of modern society, people are kept from seeking God for guidance and provision. Many American families thank God routinely at the dinner table, but for meals that came by shopping and not by miraculous provision. Just flip on the Television and you will be bombarded with all the latest ways that corporations are working to make your life easier, more ego-centric, and generally more self indulgent.

Humanity, in this cocoon of fast-food drive-thrus, medicine and creature comforts, has become numb not only to God's provision, but also to the curse that was given to Adam for his sin. Here in our cubicles our brows don't sweat, we do not have reason to seek salvation if we don't sense a need for it. So be aware: to be comfortable and satisfied with the status quo is to be blind to the deeper hope, possibility, and greater promise of the kingdom of God. We are warned in the letters of the New Testament that "friendship with the world is enmity with God", and to "Be in the world, but not of it". So it's accurate to call the world "unholy spirit" For to be holy is to be set apart from, and therefore to be unholy is to be a part of. So which master do you serve? This message is not meant to be a condemnation, but rather a warning to avoid complacency at any cost. Now that you have heard the truth, you (if you have ears to hear it) know the truth, and as you know the truth, it shall set you free. Being free, you are then commissioned to spreading the message of truth. Jesus, in prayer, said this of his followers, John 17:14-20

I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message...

On September 11th 1990, George H.W. Bush prophesied the coming of a New World Order, which is even now being ushered into place. If you have a dollar bill, look on it's back and you will find symbology pointing to the NWO. On the left portion of your bill is the Illuminati pyramid of power, topped off by a floating capstone which contains the all-seeing eye of enlightenment. This is the diagram of current global control, represented by groups such as the Bilderbergers, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations. The pattern and spirit can also be found in secret societies such as Skull and Bones, and the highest degrees of Freemasonry. The symbol of the pyramid is a blueprint of the corrupt power-structure pattern which has been used over and over again in operations which further the New World Order agenda. It is the consolidation of power. Always there is a base of ignorance and slavery, people who are pacified by simple indulgence and selfish inaction, who are then topped by people of greater authority and understanding in a pattern which rises all the way up to a capstone of rulership.




As Jesus saw and heard in the wilderness during his temptations, the Devil is and has been in control of all the kingdoms of this world, from Babel to America. He is the golden capstone which has topped the pyramid of worldly power from the beginning of history, ruling from behind the scenes. he tempts and guides the corrupted leaders of men, and he enslaves the common people in their sins. He influences the hearts of the wicked and the weak (which we all are), and he has vowed to destroy the righteous.

But do not be discouraged by this darkness, but be comforted by the spirit of truth which the Father in heaven give to all who seek it.

The shadows acting out a drama
always playing for it's captive audience.
Chained in place, their faces straight ahead
They never see or think to seek the truth.

A solitary soul has broken free
the chains are thrown aside as he ascends
and seeks the truth and what is there beyond

To reach the mouth of this, the prison cave.
And hide his eyes from such a brillant sun
the life and world outside his own experience
his eyes adjust his soul is open wide

stumbling around the outer world
feeling drunk with overstimulation
How could this have been here all along?
How could there be so much beyond the prison

running back to warn his captive brothers
back into the darkness of the cave
loosing sight of day for just a moment
long enough to get the word across...

And in the cave, return to prison.
who would find acceptance there?
Our hero comes to find the crowd afraid
wrapped up in their chains and terrified of change
He runs into the scene excited
telling of another better way of living
they see him as a raving madman
they mark as lies what they will not confirm:
that something better rests beyond what they have known
They do not want to know it at all
they want to close themselves off
how can they accept something so big, and scary, unbecoming?
gone against the grain, our hero fought a battle of perception
this is how he won his exile.

The Plight of the Poorest

Let's take a look away from the big generalized problems of the Reich-ening of our nation for a moment...and on the corner of a city street. Fix a glance at the face of hunger, the humanity of poverty right here in America.

Kevin Barbieux has been blogging for two + years and gives a much needed personal glimpse at the living problem no one wants to know.
he shared this wonderfully simple approach to bridging the gap of class separation...

So, you ask yourself, "Self, what can I do? How can I help homeless people, even though I don't have much?"

Well, there IS something you can do. There are many things that homeless people usually do without, which sometimes seem insignificant, that homeless would be very happy to receive.

This is a project you can do rather inexpensively - and you can make this a project to do with friends, or your Church group, and share the expense - and you can include people of all age groups.

Get some paper lunch bags and fill them with little goodies. This is just a list of things I can think of, that everyone on the streets would need and appreciate. You might have your own good ideas too. -- "travel size" tooth paste and tooth brush and deodorant. A pair of new or clean socks (it's hard to keep feet healthy on the street) nail clippers, a comb, a bar of soap, gloves when it's cold out, a disposable razor, etc. Then add something special, like little Halloween size candies, a personal note that says "I care". You could even decorate the bags with drawings of happy faces and hearts - yeah, even mean ol' grumpy homeless guys like that kind of stuff - even if they don't admit it.

Once you have your care packages together, take them to where homeless people hang out - wherever it's safe for you too. If you aren't a proper adult, bring along proper adult supervision. And personally hand out the packages. Just try to plan to have enough for each homeless person.

Now it does happen sometimes, when you do this, that a street person will then ask you for something you don't have, or you are uncomfortable with giving. Just tell them that the packages are all you have right now, and that you're sorry you can't help more. Sometimes they will try to make you feel guilty so they can get more out of you. Be polite but firm. If you set, and hold to your limits, they will respect you for it. This is a great way of giving. I have received such packages myself - they've always been a blessing.

The stuffed-shirt, dirt-free, nose in the sky attitude of the modern church system is not without judgment. If the modern protestant institution put forth just a fraction of the effort sheltering the homeless as they have put into building newer, better, and more churches, we would have nowhere near as many homeless people in this nation to ignore.

Just as $40 billion would feed that 25% of the world impoverished and abandoned for a full year. The fruit of our priorities shows through for all to see. "Where your heart is, there your treasure will be". and of course, "The Love of Money is the root of all evil"

Christ shared this parable, to one of his many crowds:

"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

Who Will Repay?

Although I am grateful to be "awakened" I must admit: It's incredibly draining sometimes to be aware of what's really going on in the world. It's just surreal. To question official cover-stories (like 911), To be locked outside the "mainstream" watching the flow of events as a river leading to a waterfall, it's like living a dream. I would not have chosen to be on the outside screaming in a warning. Would not have chosen to know a truth that most would dismiss as a lie. It is frustrating to deal with people who assume that this perspective is entertaining, or comfortable. It isn't enjoyable, it isn't fun, but it is true.

I was unprepared, overly ambitious and almost entirely burned myself out when I first found out about these things. I wanted to spread the word of how we the people are empowered to rise up in protest, how we aren't helpless, how we always have outnumbered these controllers (no matter how much money and power they hoard) That we don't have to be sheep. We don't have to be as lambs led to the slaughter, we don't have to simply accept the cards as they are dealt to us. And how by resigning to that fate we are in fact choosing to be complicit.

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good."

As new creations however, we are instructed exactly how to overcome that evil.

"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."

"Forgive our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil"

Romans 12

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

So even though this is the administration that a lot of us love to hate....it is STILL our command to leave judgment of them to God. Because in hating them, we ourselves become imprisoned in emotional bondage. As tempting as it may be to stay blindly enraged. They are not affected by it. Change comes by counter-action. By taking a stand to the truth, and by never resorting to violence as a means to ending violence.

...Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."

Passers-by stop to watch as flames envelope a young Buddhist monk, Saigon, October 5th, 1963.

The man sits impassively in the central market square, he has set himself on fire performing a ritual suicide in protest against governmental anti-Buddhist policies. Crowds gathered to protest in Hue after the South Vietnamese government prohibited Buddhists from carrying flags on Buddha's birthday. Government troops opened fire to disperse the dissidents, killing nine people, Diems government blamed the incident on the Vietcong and never admitted responsibility. The Buddhist leadership quickly organized demonstrations that eventually led to seven monks burning themselves to death.

I guess you must eventually become immune - the man behind the monk is still trying to find a light for his cigarette.
